What are the basic qualifications for Navy Jobs?
- Nationality Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Civil status – Unmarried
- Age Limit: Between 18-24 years Volunteer: between 18 – 26 years Regular (Minimum)
- Height: Male 5′ 5″ Female-5’3″ & Volunteer (Minimum): Male- 5′ 4″ Female – 5′ 2″
- Weight: Minimum 47.5 kg for Male & 36 kg for Female
- Chest (Male): Should not be less than 32 inches
- Colour vision- STD II: Visual acuity – Left eye 6/6 and Right eye 6/6 (without spectacles/ contact lenses)
What are the Education Qualifications for Navy Job Vacancies 2024?
- Must pass 06 subjects, including the Mother Tongue (Tamil/Sinhala), at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in no more than two attempts.
- Appeared for the GCE (A/L) Examination will be added special qualification.
- Special certifications for some postings. (IT officer – NVQ Certificate)
