Age Limits & General Rules

• Nationality: Candidates should be of citizens of Sri Lanka.
• Age limit: The age limit is below 45 years at the closing date

Post-Wise Educational Qualifications (Quick View)

• For Deputy Director General: Master’s degree in the relevant field with 15 years post-qualifying Academic/Research experience (at least 5 years at managerial level).
• For Assistant Lecturers (Engineering disciplines): Four-year Engineering Degree recognized by the UGC with 1st or 2nd Class Lower Division.
• For Assistant Lecturers (Non-Engineering): Post-graduate degree or a General/Special Degree in the relevant field with 1st or 2nd Class Upper Division.
• For Demonstrators: Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline or relevant Higher National Diploma (HND) with NVQ Level 5 and 5 years post-qualifying experience.
• For Administrative / Professional (Accountant / Assistant Registrar): Relevant Degree or professional qualification (e.g., ICA-SL, CIMA, ACCA) with minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience.
• For Technical / Support Staff (Technicians / Drivers / Management Assistants): G.C.E. O/L and A/L qualifications, or relevant NVQ Level 4 certification, or specific driving licenses with experience depending on the designation.
