What is the minimum educational qualification for the post of Management Assistant?
You must have passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination in one sitting (excluding General English and the General Common Test).
You must also have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination in one sitting with six subjects, including Credit (C) passes in:
- Mathematics
- A Language subject (Sinhala, Tamil, or English)
- Two other subjects
Note: Some government organizations have different requirements. They may require Credit (C) passes in English, Mathematics, and a Language subject at the G.C.E. O/L examination.
Age Limit:
For the open competitive examination for the post of Management Assistant (MA), the age limit is 18 to 35 years as of the closing date of applications.
However, many government organizations allow applicants to apply up to 45 years of age. Always check the relevant job advertisement, as the age limit may vary from one organization to another.
