MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT – Technical Category 2 (MA-2-1-2016) (Contract Basis)

Educational Qualifications – (External Applicants)

(a) Should have passed in six (06) subjects in one sitting with four credit passes including Sinhala / Tamil, English Language and Mathematics at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination and
(b) Should have passed in all subjects (except in General Common Test) in the Mathematics stream at the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination and should have obtained the proficiency level to follow a tertiary education course

Technical Skills / Proficiency

Should have obtained a Mechanical Engineering Diploma recognized by the University Grants Commission, National Diploma in Technology (NDT) from the Moratuwa University, Engineering Technology Institute (NET) (Katunayake), Higher National Diploma in Technology (HNDT) obtained from an institute, an Engineering Diploma Certificate or an equivalent qualification and one (01) year’s experience in production or engineering division of a reputed commercial establishment or

Should have successfully followed a Technological Course (in Mechanical Engineering) of not less than N.V.Q. Level Five (05) as specified by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.

Others
Every applicant should be a

i. Citizen of Sri Lanka

ii. Should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties entrusted to the post.

iii. Should have an excellent moral character

iv. Employee should contribute 10% to the Employees Provident Fund and the Company will contribute 15%. Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited also will contribute 3% to the Employees Trust Fund

V. Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years vi. Night Shift work is applicable
