Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- For Executive & Professional Posts (Farm Manager, Curator, Career Guidance Counsellor): Four-year Honours Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields (Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Architecture, Social Sciences, etc.) with relevant experience.
- For Technical & Supervisory Staff (Technical Officers, Supervisor, Marshal): NDT/Higher Diploma or G.C.E. A/L in Science/Technology stream with practical training, or Degree/Higher Diploma with relevant experience/military background.
- For Management Assistants (General, Shroff, Store-Keeping): Passed 6 subjects in G.C.E. O/L in one sitting with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics; AND passed all subjects in G.C.E. A/L (single sitting). Computer course (>=6 months) & experience preferred.
- For Skilled Trades & Technical Attendants (Mechanic, Machinist, Carpenter, Plumber, Lab Attendant, Nurseryman): G.C.E. O/L examination and NVQ Level 2/3/4 Proficiency Certificates or equivalent trade experience.
- For Primary & Labourer Grades (Security Guard, Gardener, Works Aide, Health Service Labourer): G.C.E. O/L Examination with required subject passes; specific physical height requirement (5’2″) for Female Security Guard.
Age Limit:
Varies by post (e.g., 18–30 years for Management Assistants/Shroff/Store-Keeper; 18–45 years for Trade & Labourer posts; 22–45 years for Career Guidance Counsellor; 30–45 years for Marshal; not more than 45/60 years for Executive/Technical posts
