Eligibility Criteria

Age Limits & General Rules

• Nationality: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Residential Requirement: Must have been a permanent resident of the Western Province for three (03) consecutive years prior to the closing date (10.08.2026).
• Age limit: 18 – 45 years for most posts

• For Primary Non-Skilled Service Posts: Passed Grade 9 for Labourer; Passed G.C.E. O/L in 6 subjects with 2 credits (max 2 sittings, 5 in one sitting) for Office Assistant, Tree Cutter, Attendant, Caretaker, Lab Worker, Dogs Setter, and Field Assistant.
• For Sports Coach Grade III: Passed G.C.E. O/L in 6 subjects with credits in Sinhala/Tamil/English, Math, and 2 other subjects in one sitting, plus passed 1 A/L subject. Must hold a relevant 6-month sports diploma/coaching experience.
• For Motor Vehicle Driver Grade III: Passed G.C.E. O/L in 6 subjects with 2 credits (max 2 sittings, 5 in one sitting) including language. Must hold valid driving license with 3 years experience.
• For Security Guard Grade III: Passed G.C.E. O/L in 6 subjects with 2 credits (max 2 sittings). Meets physical height and chest requirements.

How to Apply?

2. Fill out the application form clearly by hand or typing on both sides of an A4 size paper.
3. Gather photocopies of all required certificates verifying qualifications, age, residency in the Western Province, and experience.
4. For posts requiring examination fees (Sports Coach: Rs. 500, Security Guard: Rs. 500), pay as indicated in the application instructions.
5. Write the title of the post applied for clearly on the top left-hand corner of the application envelope.
6. If applying for more than one position, submit separate applications in separate envelopes via registered post.
7. Send the completed application package via Registered Post on or before 10.08.2026 to the official mailing address below. Hand-delivered applications will not be considered.
