New System Engineer Jobs in 2024

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

B.Sc Engineering Degree in Computer Science/B.Sc Network Systems engineering from a recognized University OR
B.Sc Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from a UGC recognized University with 3 years post-qualifying experience in Systems Maintenance, Database Administration and Network Administration OR
B.Sc Degree from a UGC recognized University with 7 years post-qualifying experience in Database Administration, System Administration, and Network Administration
Certificate in Database Administration (Oracle/Mango DB) or System/ Network Administration (CCNA/HND/NVQ5)/Computer Security would be an added advantage

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Proactively
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy Maintain strategies
Linux LAN/WAN, Database, MS Windows Server and Systems Administration and troubleshooting
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
