Job Requirements
6 passes in G.C.E. O/L (Local or London) including 4 Credit passes (or equivalent), with credits for Mathematics, Science and English in one sitting except the Credit Pass for English which may be obtained in any sitting.
AND
A CAASL IS 147 / EASA part 147 approved full-time basic aircraft maintenance course in category B1.1 or B2, conducted by a CAASL IS 147 / EASA part 147 approved Maintenance Training Organization.
OR
A full-time basic and Advanced aircraft maintenance course conducted by an Aeronautical Military school, with the course duration not less than one year. Such a course is accepted only after review of the course outline by Sri Lankan Quality Assurance.
OR
Those holding a bachelor’s engineering degree in aerospace, aeronautical or aircraft maintenance disciplines.
And completed a, CAASL IS 147 /EASA part 147 approved full-time basic aircraft maintenance course, conducted by a CAASL IS 147 / EASA part 147 approved Maintenance Training Organization. The minimum course duration shall be one year.
OR
Hold a valid CAASL AML B1 or B2 License. And completed a,
CAASL IS 147 /EASA part 147 approved full-time basic aircraft maintenance course, conducted by a CAASL IS 147 / EASA part 147 approved Maintenance Training Organization. The minimum course duration shall be one year.
OR
A full-time basic aircraft maintenance course approved by the competent authority of an ICAO member state and conducted by an organization approved by such authority, in categories B1.1 or B2. If the categories defined by the member state are different, such courses may be accepted only after a review of the course outline by Sri Lankan Quality Assurance. In any case, the minimum course duration shall be Two years.
AND
Ten or more year of maintenance experience in Commercial Pressurized aircraft.
The upper age limit should be 50 years as of the closing date 09th October 2023.
Employment will be offered on a fixed term contract.
