1. Deputy Director (Research Management)- (HM 1-3) 

(Vacancies – 01)

Qualifications.
For External Candidates: 

A special degree of 4 years duration with a 1st or 2nd class upper division in Agriculture or science with postgraduate qualification from a recognized University with appropriate subject Corporate Membership of a recognized professional institution with Three (03) years of Senior Manager category experience.

OR 

A Bachelor’s degree in science or Agriculture at recognized U.G.C. recognized university 
Postgraduate degree qualification in the relevant field
Minimum of 18 years experience in Managerial Level in 
  • Corporation
  • Statutory Body
  • Reputed Mercantile Establishment. 
For Internal Candidates: 
Minimum of three DI years satisfactory Scientist in the Senior Manager Category.

2. Senior Scientist — (HM 1-1)
(Vacancy – 01)

External:
A Bachelor’s degree of Science or Agriculture from a U.G.C. recognized iniversity 

Postgraduate degree qualification (masters degree) in the relevant field.
Minimum of 15 years experience in Managerial Level in a
  • Corporation Board 
  • Reputed Mercantile Establishment. 
OR
A Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Minimum of five (05) year experience as a Senior Research Officer. 

Internal:
A degree in Science or Agriculture appropdate subjectcombination

02 year post graduate research degree in the relevant field. 
A Ph.D.. the relevant field 
Minimum of 04 years satisfactory
service as a Senior Research Officer in the SLCARR

3. Research Officer – (AR-1) (Vacancies – 01)
Educational Qualifications
External:
A special degree in Science or Agriculture (first class or second class upper Class) with appropriate subject combinations from a University recognized by the UGC. 
OR 
A special degree with first class or second class upper or second class lower in the Agriculture or science.
from a University recognized by the UGC
Minimum of 1 year post graduate research degree in the relevant field 
OR
A degree in the Science or Agriculture with from a University recognized by UGC 
Two (02) years post graduate research degree.

 Salary : Rs.95,550.00/

Age: Age should be not less Man twenty five (25) years and not more than forty five 45 years. The upper age limit will not apply.

4. Accountant (vacancies – 1)

Qualifications 

External Candidates: 
A bachelor’s degree of Commerce or Accountancy from a university recognized by the UGC OR Intermediate level qualification of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka gaso

OR 

Higher National Diploma in Accounts AND At least 03 years pest qualifying experience in Accounting and Finance in a Government Department/ Public Corporation/ Board or a reputed Mercantile Establishment.

Note: 
Age Should be 22-45

5. Librarian – (JM 1 – 1)
 (Vacancies — 01)

Qualifications 

External:
Bachelors Degree of Library Science of the university of Kalaniya with Minimum of one (01) year post qualifying experience in a
  • Government Department
  • Corporation
  • Board 
  • Reputed Establishment 
OR 
Professional Advanced Certificate in Library Science and Documentation
from University of Kelaniya.
Minimum of three (03) year experience in a Government Department/ Corporation/ Board or in a reputed established library.
And at least three (03) years should have been spent in a library specialized in agriculture, fisheries or forestry.

OR 

Final examination certificate of the Sri Lanka Library Association.
And at least four (04) years work experience in a Govemment Department/ Corporation/ Board or in a reputed mercantile established library.
At least five (05) years should have been spent in a library specialized in agriculture, fisheries or forestry. 
Note.
Age should be 22-45 

6. Administrative Officer – (.1M 1-1) (Vacancy -01) 
qualifications
 External:
Bachelors Degree of Commerce. Science or Arts from a univeisiry recognized by the UGC.

Minimum of one year past qualifying experience in a 

  • Government Department
  • Corporation
  • Board or in a reputed Mercantile Establishment.
Internal:
Employees who have completed a minimum of five (05) Years satisfactory service in the relevant field in au post in Grade) of the ‘Managernent Assistant.

 Salary: Rs. 70 580

Age: Age should be 22-45

7. Management Assistant – Technological (MA 2-2) 
  • 7.1 Technical Officer (Computer Software) (No. of Vacancies – 01) 
  • 7.2Technical Officer (Graphic Designing & Illustrator) (No. of vacancies – 01) 
7.1 Technical Officer (Computer Software) (No. of Vacancies – 01)

Qualification:
External:
G.C.E. (A/1) in Science with three passes in one sitting in relevant subject combination and G.C.E. (OM six subjects in one sitting with four (04) credit passes including Mathematics, Science and Language (Sinhala/ Tamil)

AND Diploma in the relevant field not below the N.V.Q. Level 05 from a recognized institution.

Internal:

Same as above. 7.2 Technical Officer (Graphic Designing & Illustrator)

 External: G.C.E. (A/L) in Science with three passes in one sitting in relevant subject combination and G.C.E.(0/L) are subjects in one sitting with four (04) credit passes including Mathematics, Science and Language (Sinhala/Tamil)

AND Diploma in the relevant field not below the N.V.Q. Level 05 from a recognized institution.

Internal: Same as above.
Salary: Rs. 53.360.00

8. Management Assistant -Non Technological (MA 1-1) 

(No. of Vacancies – 02)

External :

Having passed the G.C.E. (0/L.) examination in six subjects one sitting with credit passes foe four (04) subjects including Sinhala/ Tamil English Language Maths Having passed three subjects (other than the General paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination.

Internal Employees of the categories of Primary Level – Skilled and Primary Level – Unskilled who possess the following qualifications are eligible o apply.

Internal:
Having passed the G.C.E. (0/1.) examination in so subjects with credit passes for four (Pa) subjects including Sinhale/ Tamil English Language Math
Other:

Having completed a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a permanent post under the above employee category.

 Note:
Any period of service prior to been appointed to a permanent post or any period of service to be completed under training as a prerequisite for appointment on permanent basis to any post should not be counted within the five years of service required for qualification as stated above.

Any period of service on casual / temporary basis too should not counted for this purpose.

 Salary: Rs. 49 5401

Age:

should be 18-45.

Other:

Note :
All the functions of the Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy are handled by office situated in Colombo 07.
